An Ode To Iridine

By Muracho Len

Down the river walk
The Stone Toga is where
I dine
No matter where
I wander I end up
In Iridine
Working at Apula's
Helping those poor
Citizens
Working for almost dirt
Paid ten denars,
Two sens
Visiting the graveyard
To see a friend
Who died
Seeing my friend
Up in smoke
I cried
The sheep now come
I now must
Retire
But only for the night
My life will not
Expire
