Ground Floor

The Outer Bailey of the Castle is the area initially accessible to all guests of the court. Players tend to gather in a few of the rooms located in the Outer Bailey. It is well-known and well-mapped.

Important Locations on the Outer Bailey Ground Floor:

Dining Hall: Located on the ground floor of the Outer Bailey, most Guests take their meals in this warm, well-lit dining hall. Food is available 24 hours a day, as are conversation and companionship.

Great Bridge: Location between the Inner and Outer Baileys. Tis multi-leveled bridge hangs over the huge crevasse that splits the mountaintop in two.Guards stand here, preventing those who are not Honored Guests from entering the Inner Bailey.

Outer Courtyard: Anyone going between the Inner and Outer Baileys of the castle must pass through this courtyard. The high walls shelter it somewhat from the winter winds, and many castle residents like to take the air here while keeping a surreptitious eye on the comings and goings of others.
