NPC Packages
Why did they take away the option to buy NPC characters with role-points?
Would you pay for an NPC character if you knew that when they died, three months later you could re-roll the same NPC with no RP cost? This could be broken down in to a more complex system, but essentially, you're paying for an NPC, once, but the package would never expire. If your character was PK'd because you were trying to start some sort of RP, and was mistaken for the typical NPC and killed at first sight.. Three months later, (or however long you think is fair) you can have the chance to re-roll the dead character, and start completely new with him. If, after three months, you decide you want to purchase another NPC character, you could be given the option to upgrade your NPC package. Brutes were 400, the next highest was a bandit at 500? Go to the menu, select bandit, and it only charges you 100 RP's. Premium accounts only. |

Makes sense to me, encourage players to get PNPC characters.
This way they are not afraid to role play how they want to there fore limiting their fun. |

Good idea. They used to add a lot to the game esp Cineran Heavies during the war years.

This would also help some of the non gm favored players develop their individual stories a bit more as well. Is there really any down side? It's not like they have ridiculous stats and ranks or anything.
