Chronicle - Ser Dolph's New Left Hand

Twenty-ninth day of the Fourth moon,
Thirteenth Year of the Recent Awakenings,

Ser Dolph's New Left Hand

In accordance to the will of the Lord Chamberlain, and in upholding the duties charged to me as a Junior Chronicler, I hereby submit an account of ser Dolph's New Left Hand.

In the mid-afternoon of the Twenty-ninth day of this Fourth moon, the Royal Chirurgeon, Doctor Diana with the assistance of the other healers conducted a rather unique operation of attaching a new left hand to one of her Majesty's Royal Pages, ser Dolph.

Ser Dolph had previously lost his hand when he had been kidnapped and held for ransom by ser Ryot during the the Second moon of the Fifth year of recent awakenings.

Doctor Aloria, Apprentice Jacicus, and Nurse Myrddin assisted Doctor Diana in preparing everything for a surgery that if any number of things went wrong could have resulted in ser Dolph's death. To help insure that the none of the healers were disturbed in the slightest Dame Wilena stood guard outside of the hospital, while Sergeant Alexandr remained inside ready for any unforeseen emergency.

Over the next three bells Doctor Diana worked with Apprentice Jacicus and Nurse Myrddin to attach with the utmost care a new fresh hand provided by the Royal Necromancer, making sure that everything lined up perfectly. With thanks, there was no call from anywhere in the castle for a healer during this time, and only once did someone approach the hospital wondering what was going on. This inquiry was handled efficiently by Dame Wilena, and those working inside were able to continue working in peace. Eventually, with no complications Doctor Diana declared the surgery a success, having completely reattached this new hand to her patient.

As for if the hand will work properly after ser Dolph has healed is something only time will tell, but for now he is alive and after eight years finally has a new left hand.

This chronicle will be subject to changes and corrections, as I humbly ask that the readers indicate to me through their discretion any falsehood I may have mistakenly communicated. It is by means of the conservation of the Past that we continue to serve Her Majesty and give substance to those that follow.

In service to Her Majesty Queen Vivienne, the Lord Chamberlain, the Chronicler's Office, and the Denizenry of our Gracious Queen's Realm;

Sera Kaori Zaihou
Junior Chronicler
