Don't worry, only 3 can approach you at a time. If you're practiced in CMs you'll be fine. Hope you have inhuman endurance though! >_<

[Success: 5, Roll: 79] With both arms extended, you spin in place, striking at a gladiator with the studded leather cestus on each hand! She suffers a shallow cut to her head. Critical Hit! Grazing cut to the face. Strong cut to the face.

You are in the middle of something.
You are no longer busy.
An attendant rushes in and carries a destroyed wooden buckler away.
The attack rakes the wooden buckler! Critical Hit! Powerful strike to the left shoulder. She suffers a cut to her right shoulder.
A gladiator falls unconscious.
Several arena attendants drag away the wounded gladiator.

Iridine, the City of Brotherly Love:

Ridder groans.
Breven begins to move toward Ridder.
Breven maneuvers past you.

Breven stops next to Ridder.
Breven brutally punches Ridder in the face. He suffers a bruise to his face.
Ridder falls unconscious.

You gasp at Breven.
Breven says to Ridder, "night..t..y night..t.."

eat trout
You take a few bites of an a fillet of trout rolled up with tepsin pepper paste. The fillet of trout rolled up with tepsin pepper paste is undercooked.
The tender raw fish parts easily as you bite into it, with a sweet fresh taste that is quickly followed by a fiery dose of tepsin pepper paste.

You take a few bites of a trout. The trout is completely raw!
Your stomach begins to roll violently.
You feel nauseated.
roll
You roll your eyes.
You throw up violently all over the place!
It feels like the temperature has risen twenty degrees.
Your tongue feels like it is on fire!

The raw fish causing you to throw up 'feature' was the stupidest change in memory. It still pisses me off.

One of the more pointless changes in TEC.

Apparently none of the GMs like sushi.

I suggested that people from Tepsin be immune to the pepper taste years and years ago!

I think that'd be a cooler implementation than puking from raw fish.

How long has that been in effect? I love sushi, and it was probably just a mistaken consequence of other changes to edibles. No need to be bitter.

It changed a while back, maybe four or five months ago. I really only posted it because it was funny that one raw was ok and the other was poison.

It's fixed now. Fresh caught fish are still inedible, but none of the raw dishes should be a problem.

It wasn't the tepsin fish that was the problem - it was that I typed 'eat trout' and there was an uncooked caught fish in the room I didn't notice. Sorry if I wasn't clear?
