Downtime Thursday

This is to let you all know that Skotos will be doing some maintenance on the machine that runs Lovecraft on Thursday, starting at 11am PT. The maintenance should last about an hour and access to the games will be intermittent during the period.

The machine, which will need to be rebooted twice over the duration. Each
time the games should go down cleanly, and then come up cleanly afterward.

There is some chance for a longer duration downtime if the upgrade doesn't go cleanly, but the odds are good everything should be done within the hour.

Just a reminder that this was scheduled for today. If I hear anything more, I will be sure to post updates.

And an additional reminder that this was at PT which means right now and not 3 hours ago like certain StoryHosts might have thought because apparently they don't read so well.

We should be back, on a machine running a shiny new operating system. Hopefully we might even seen a bit less lag. Fingers crossed, eh?
