I meant to do this a while back. Kudos to Kneller for the RP changes to the NPCsoldiers. It's nice that they speak our "language" now, and being able to dismiss them for others makes life so much easier.

Kudos to Kneller for his quick construction of a very awesome emoting system based on player suggestions!

All our TEC are belong to Kneller.

I third this sentiment.

Typically, 9 times out of 10 in TEC you are bored you just dont realize it because your brain functions at a higher rate and it keeps you from thinking about the possibility that you are simply sitting there doing absolutely nothing.

Kudos for Uzak for being infuriating in a way that reminded me of old Infocom and Sierra games, while at the same time being very helpful.

And for coddling my senility.

An Unknown GM for what seems to be a developing sailor-related plot. Good improv (I assume) today!

Kings quest 2 popped my gamer cherry. Legendary series. Quest for Glory was equally legendary. Space Quest wasnt bad either. My mom didnt let me get a Nintendo; Sierra products were my childhood best fwiends.

If that's the one where the Prince finally gets the hook-up, yes. First PC game I ever purchased was Police Quest, and I can occasionally catch myself humming the Quest for Glory theme.

Like jkidd said...legendary.

That was me, and I apologise for giving the impression that the sailor was controlled by a GM. Sadly the ongoing sailor plots died in the water -- no pun intended.

Unfortunately, there are players with the 'kill every NPC' mentality that make it difficult to play these roles, especially taking into account the hefty rolepoint cost for a character with a shelf life not dissimilar to milk.

It was the concept that players can begin stories and spin their own tales, with the eventuality of possible GM inclusion -- provided the GMs liked what they saw. If not, the basic principle was to have fun along the way.

I'm glad you enjoyed yourself, and the role-play.
