[This poster, written in hurried, inky black letters, seems to be found on nearly every street in the immediate area around Miskatonic University. Posted to walls, windows, lamposts, and telephone lines alike, you can't help but see it while wandering through Arkham]

Residents of Arkham,

As you may know, there is something within the museum that is wrong. Very wrong. Something that has been tainting the bodies and minds of all who touch it. Something that I have touched. Something that has changed me.
