Anyone work in HR? Been waiting on pins and needles a few weeks to hear back from a company regarding making the final 2-3 that are going to get interviewed for a position. Mostly been staring at my phone waiting for it to ring....
It finally rang and I missed the call. They didn't leave a message and I called the HR person back and got their voicemail stating their office hours ended at 330cst. Why didn't they leave a message!?!?! fml

Had a fever the past three days. I deliver newspapers (I.E. self-employed) so have no way of taking a day off. Wake up this morning, turn off the alarm, and the next thing I remember is sneezing myself awake two hours later. Realized my entire bed was covered in sweat. Off to work, finish that and check my voicemail: 37 messages from customers getting their paper late, 12 of which explaining that it ruined their day. Fun times!
