Local Crew to Go to Aid of Wayward Captain!
Reports filtered out to the Triskellian Edition of the Beacon to confirm that Members of the Crew of the Bitter Portend Have been seen in Thanon alongside local Constable Deputy Kegan and Dedicated Healer, Miss Lys Sinnet. Among the crew are a number of recent volunteers freshly sworn in under the orders of Acting Captain and First Mate of the Bitter Portend, Eiryk Fierden.
Residents of Three Corners as well as outlying towns surrounding Thanon are urged to assist in any way to effect a quick resolution of this Bandit Occupation. However, be warned that the crew of the Black ship Phantom are not likely to take kindly to refusal of goods.
The beacon has sought information regarding the state of any militia willing to undertake a mission to travel and fight along side the forces gathering under the command of Captain Fierden and Deputy Kegan. Thus far our queries have gone unanswered.
It is yet unknown if the prisoners, taken some weeks ago, are still alive. We at the beacon wish them and their intended rescuers Good fortune on the next weeks events. May you all go with the light, and return triumphant, and in good health.
