Over at TEC there's always a big push for people to vote on Top MUD site's webpage. I just realised that Marrach doesn't even rank there, when it should given this game is extremely rich in RP. The benefit of ranking there is that you get new players trying out the game.

I'm happy to report that because the voting has reset, Castle Marrach is currently at 34!

Just FYI. I began harrassing people this morning and nudged us back up into spot #13. We can do better than this.. though I wonder why the system at large isn't doing it for us.
1) The web clients should have a vote button link built in. It could be placed one one side or the other or BOTH that says Vote for CM. 2) Couldn't an Auto-broadcast be set up to remind people ingame a couple times a day like some other games already do? *nudges Geist* Thwack some people at Skotos and make this real, if you want higher numbers. The next step above #13 is going to take some serious effort - there's a 200-point difference.
