Does whirly slash have the same sub-skill bonus/penalty system as stab and slash? I.E. 50 ranks in knife slash with present no penalty?

Slash ranks = success penalty. Whirling slash rank = double hit requirement.

Nooo double hits are based on slash. Its like this.

100 - Slash ranks = number you have to roll over your success.

So with 30 ranks in slash you need to roll 70 over. 100 ranks would be a perfect whirlslash.

You'd get to-hit penalties with whirl slash up to lvl 50 slash, but you won't hit twice 100% of the time until lvl 100, not 95, tested it with lvl 96 slash before I took it to 110, rolled a 5/6 and only hit once. Sorry Hist

Can't remember at all about doublecut, but I remember I had like 110slash/45 stab before it was hitting twice guarenteed, though I could be way wrong, It may be 100/40 or 100/50, but you'd get to-hit penalty until stab and slash were 50, seemed more so of a penalty from stab though. Yeah, I know the 110 wasn't needed, only 100 or less with the slash.
